Where does The Timber Group build?
We are based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with our timber shop in New Richmond. Most of our work is in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, southeast Indiana, and the Ohio River Valley, with select projects farther afield.
Do you work with our own architect and designer?
Almost always. Most of our homes are collaborations with the client's chosen architect and interior designer; we join the team early to resolve the frame in three dimensions before anything is cut. We also offer design-build when a client prefers a single point of accountability.
What is the smallest project you take on?
Whole homes are the heart of our work, but porches, pavilions, barns, outdoor rooms, and entry frames are a natural way to begin a relationship with the shop.
How many projects do you accept a year?
No more than six major projects. Keeping our calendar deliberately small is how we guarantee a principal at every raising and a master framer on every critical joint.
