Some clients come to us for the frame. Others ask us to carry the whole home. Either way, the goal is the same: keep the timber, engineering, enclosure, and finish decisions connected from the start.
One team, sketch to keys
A timber home goes better when the frame, engineering, enclosure, and finish details are coordinated early. We keep those decisions connected, with one principal answerable from beginning to end.
We work two ways: alongside the architect and interior designer you have already chosen, or as a design-build studio when you would rather entrust the whole vision to one team. Either way, the frame and the finishes are conceived together, never bolted on after the fact.
Where we build
We are based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with our shop in New Richmond. Most of our work is in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, southeast Indiana, and the Ohio River Valley.
Each site shapes the frame. Soil, access, weather, span, roof form, and local review all affect the way we design, cut, and raise the structure.

Is there a minimum project size or budget?
Whole-home work is a major commitment, but we also take on porches, pavilions, barns, additions, and entry frames. Those smaller projects are often the best way to start.
How involved will we need to be?
As involved as you wish. Some clients pore over every joint and species; others hand us the vision and step away until the raising. We design our process to flex around your appetite for detail.
Do you build outside your core regions?
Yes, selectively. We are based in Cincinnati with a shop in New Richmond, and most of our work stays within the Ohio River Valley. We will travel when the project is the right fit.
Design-build or competitive bid?
Both. We are happy to bid a fully designed home, but most clients find the design-build path produces a more coherent - and ultimately more cost-controlled - result.
